Nick completed his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the United States before making the move to Tasmania. His approach to physiotherapy has been shaped by both his clinical training and his own experience as an athlete and patient.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Nick competed as a Division I springboard diver at university and has a background in competitive gymnastics. His interest in physiotherapy began much earlier, after fracturing his back and experiencing firsthand how significantly injury can change the way you move, train and live.
Nick has a particular interest in acute back and neck pain, musculoskeletal injuries and concussion management. He combines advanced manual therapy techniques with progressive resistance training, helping clients manage pain while building the strength and capacity needed for long-term progress.
His sporting background gives Nick a strong understanding of movement and athletic demands, but his approach extends well beyond athletes. He enjoys working with people across all ages and abilities, from acute injuries through to helping people return to training, activity and the things they enjoy. With specific interests in low back, neck, and concussion related injuries.
