Meet AMY, an Exercise Scientist and Strength Coach with a background in Exercise and Sport Science, coaching and sport management.
Having grown up around sport and an active lifestyle, she has developed a strong appreciation for the role movement and exercise can play in building confidence, improving strength and helping people get more out of life, and keep doing what they love!
Amy enjoys helping people develop their strength, movement and overall fitness, with an approach that is supportive, encouraging and tailored to the individual. She believes good coaching is about creating an environment where people feel comfortable, building confidence through movement and helping them recognise what they are capable of, regardless of their starting point.
With a background spanning coaching and sport, Amy has spent many years working with people of different ages and abilities. She brings this experience into her sessions, with a focus on making training enjoyable, purposeful and relevant to the things people want to achieve, both inside and outside the gym.
Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science in 2025 and is continuing to develop her knowledge and skills, commencing a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2027. She has a particular passion for strength and conditioning, running and endurance sport, and enjoys exploring how strength training can complement performance and everyday movement.
