Meet Sam. a coach with a calm,
science-led approach to
better
movement and long-term
strength.
Sam is an Exercise and Sport Scientist with a strong interest in how the body moves and adapts to training. Her coaching is grounded in evidence-based practice, biomechanics, and a practical understanding of what actually works in real life. She enjoys helping people understand why they’re doing what they’re doing, so training feels purposeful rather than overwhelming.
Alongside her academic background, Sam has years of experience as a national-level water polo athlete representing Tasmania. This has shaped her appreciation for skill, coordination, and sustainable conditioning, but her coaching style remains calm, supportive, and adaptable - meeting people where they’re at rather than pushing intensity for intensity’s sake.
Sam has over four years’ experience as a swim instructor, as well as experience coaching and refereeing water polo. This has allowed her to work with a wide range of ages and abilities, building confidence in movement both on land and in the water.
Beginning her studies in 2026 as a Physio, she has a genuine passion for biomechanics and movement quality, and finds real joy in seeing clients notice improvements - whether that’s moving more freely, feeling stronger, or simply feeling more confident in their bodies. Sam believes good training should enhance quality of life, be sustainable long-term, and fit into the bigger picture of health and wellbeing.
