Sam is a physio with a background in dance, sport and Pilates, who is passionate about helping women rediscover strength, control and confidence through purposeful movement.

My love for movement began as a child through dance and sport. The rhythm and competitive nature of dance allowed me to fall in love with movement and the complexity of the human body. Coupled with a passion for teaching, I find great joy in breaking down the complexities of movement (both painful/dysfunctional) into bite-size pieces for people to grasp, understand, appreciate, reform and rehabilitate, enabling them to perform movement with grace and eventually strength.

I studied in South Africa, then moved to Australia. I did my post graduate training in sports.

I love all sports, but hockey is one of my favourites. As a dancer, I did ballet, modern and contemporary.

My physio journey has led me to fall inlove with Pilates reformer and all things core- related! It epitomises strength and grace all in one package.

Since becoming a mum, I'm passionate about empowering women to find their new strength through various forms of movement: "Movement is an art. It's all about finding your inner strength and allowing your mind and body to follow. It often requires you to diversify your mindset, allowing yourself the opportunity to try something new."
