Kenan has a love for Physio that stems from a deep-seated need to help people, who feel like they’re on the outskirts.
Whether it be due to complex pain or a disability, I thrive on being able to bring out the gold in people.
Being dyslexic myself, I know what it feels like to struggle and overcome. It also allows me the privilege of seeing the world through a completely different lens. What I once deemed as my hindrance, has become my greatest strength.
I have a passion for analysing movement patterns, finding the missing components and working towards a step-by-step plan of rehabilitation. I have a keen eye for detail that the average person would generally miss. It's my superpower.
I studied in South Africa, finding great joy in treating complex pain from paediatrics to adults. I moved to Australia and continued to build into my love for people through mentoring and teaching junior physios to find their passion and refine their skills.
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." It's a philosophy that I stand by when it comes to treating patients or colleagues. It's the basis of connection and creates a strong sense of purpose when encouraging people to work towards their untapped potential.
