His dedication to the sport was recognised with an offer for a soccer scholarship to Purdue University in the USA, an opportunity that, while not pursued, significantly influenced his professional ethos and commitment to physiotherapy.
Curtis is a devoted runner and an enthusiastic CrossFit participant.
